Our Team

Clayton W. James is the founder and Managing Director of Jamestowne Investments, LLC. Clayton has been a registered financial advisor since 2003 and has earned the Accredited Asset Management Certificate (AAMS). Clayton specializes in assisting multi-generational families, trusts, small business owners, corporations and private endowments to ensure investment assets are fully diversified, have core asset allocation principals, generate income, and have the protection characteristics needed to provide both growth and longevity. Clayton holds his Series 7, 66, 31 and health, life, and annuity licenses.

Clayton graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Economics. There he earned the designation of Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society and served as Captain of the football team as well as the President of Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Clayton resides in Gloucester, VA with his wife, Ginger, and their two children Kathryn and Drake. In his community, Clayton is a member of the Gloucester Point Rotary Club, Abingdon Episcopal Church, Ware River Yacht Club Fleet Captain, President of the Rosewell Foundation, Treasurer of the Gloucester Community Foundation. In his spare time Clayton enjoys sailing, hunting and fishing.

Serving as the Director of Client Services, Ginger manages the daily operations of Jamestowne Investments. She is responsible for facilitating the relationship between the client and the advisory team and she ensures all client issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Ginger is also the Director of Marketing and is responsible for all marketing activities including direct and social media marketing.

Ginger is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology & Education. She worked previously in the brokerage industry in both Tuscaloosa, AL and Leesburg, VA. Between 2007 and 2016 Ginger was the Director of Admissions, Director of Marketing, and Director of Special Events for Ware Academy in Gloucester, VA.

Jaci has been in the financial services industry for over 22 years and holds her Series 99. Her background as a sales assistant offers her a great perspective to her role on the operations side of the business. Jaci's passion is people and building trusting relationships that will last a lifetime.

Jaci is very active at her church, and serves in the worship choir- which is her favorite place to be. She is also involved with the women's ministry. While their kids are married and out of the home, she and her husband keep busy taking care of their 4 four-legged kids.

Hilary works to create efficiencies and refine the processes of our practice to help us continually raise the level of service we provide. In her role, she has oversight on all business services and resources we may need as a firm. In addition, she facilitates ongoing educational opportunities and idea exchanges to help us stay at the forefront of our industry.

As a CFP® professional, Hilary has been in the industry for over 25 years. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas McComb's School of Business and a Masters in Financial Management from the American College of Financial Services. She holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65 licenses. To keep an innovative mind, Hilary can often be found reading published pieces by various thought leaders in the industry. Outside of her passion for helping us provide the best service for our clients, Hilary enjoys morning runs and spending time with her husband and two children.

Chris works to support the advisory services of Jamestowne Investments. With his primary background in operations, he has been in the financial industry since 1998. He has his Series 7, 31, 24, 53, 4, 63, and 66.

Chris and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters and one son.
